Does Soul sell my data to anybody?

Absolutely not. Your gratitude messages are sacred. We treat your data—and our own—as such, which means handling it with the utmost care, privacy, and thoughtfulness.

Moreover, organizations that purchase an enterprise license do not have access to read the gratitude messages of their team/organization.

By default, your messages are encrypted on Soul’s database in order to give another layer of privacy. Moreover, we de-identify your phone number from your messages.

Why are Soul’s streaks “forgiving”?

Soul has streaks. For each gratitude prompt that a user replies to, he/she earns a streak. You have 4 opportunities to regain your streak, if you miss a prompt.

We do this because we believe that streaks should be compassionate. We’ve found that the result of that compassion is deeper intrinsic motivation and greater consistency in responding to gratitude prompts. The reward: more growth and investment in your gratitude practice.

If I have questions about Soul, can I text the same number — or does that mess up the storage of my gratitude texts?

If you send a support question in the SMS thread, it will be saved as a gratitude message. Thus, instead, if you need to reach support, email us at [email protected].

How does an enterprise account work?

An enterprise account allows you to onboard your community/team/colleagues/employees to use Soul.

What’s super cool about enterprise accounts: teams/orgs can optionally upload custom prompts to be sent. Thus, creating a deeper way to engage with employees/colleagues/community members.

Reach out to us at [email protected] to create an enterprise account. We will setup your account. You’ll then receive an email to onboard. You’ll also receive a specific URL for your community/team/colleagues/employees. At the end of 30 days, you will be charged for the number of users that sign up for Soul via your specific URL.

If you cancel the enterprise account, your users will have to upgrade to continue to receive messages and access their online dashboard.

To keep messages, do I need to just save the text message conversation in my messaging app — or will there be a web-based aspect where users can look back at gratitudes / search?

How do I cancel Soul?
